Marathon episode on Nova

This week, PBS stations are airing a Nova episode on marathon running called the Marathon Challenge. I haven’t been able to watch most of the episode because I don’t have a TV and the Quicktime stream stopped working in the middle of part 1. Hopefully it was just a wonky wireless connection and I’ll have better success later. There’s a pretty interesting teacher’s guide available corresponding to the episode that you can get here. It looks like it could be a useful illustration of the scientific method, data collection and analysis, and physiology.
